1. Use any file manager such as Fileman, SeleQ, Fexplorer, etc. Go to C:\System\Data and copy Contacts.cdb. Paste it at somewhereelse in your MMC. When you want to restore your contacts, go to the same location C:\System\Data and paste contacts.cdb there. *Do this at your own risk. Phones running on Symbian OS 6.0 phones are not advisable to use this method. For Symbian OS8.0 or higher, open contacts> option> mark all> copy to phone memory/memory card.
