First of all you must know that almost all files of the download except pics are posted on rar or zip format. this is an compressed type of format and you can put normal files like .sis or .jar in a single .rar or .zip file.
Tn order to open these files you must have WINRAR or WINZIP installed on your computer. however i advise you to install winrar because its the best one.
The process to get the files you want from the rar file is very simple: you just open the rar file, right click on the file you want to extract and choose "extract to specified folder". then choose the folder which you want the file to be placed in.
OR you can just drag the file to the folder you want to place the file in your pc but you must have that folder opened on the explorer. select all files on the rar file and do the same process if there is more then one file on the .rar file.
IMEI = Short for International Mobile Equipment Identity, a unique number given to every single mobile phone, typically found behind the battery. IMEI numbers of cellular phones connected to a GSM network are stored in a database (EIR - Equipment Identity Register) containing all valid mobile phone equipment.
When a phone is reported stolen or is not type approved, the number is marked invalid.
The number consists of four groups that looks this:
MMC (MultiMedia Card). The standard of this flash memory card is defined by MultiMedia Card Association. It is used in many Nokia phones although some of newer Nokia phones support SD card too. MMC / MMCplus - 24mm x 32mm x 1.4mm. MMCplus is newer standard with higher transfer rate. RS-MMC (Reduced-Size MMC) - 24mm x 18mm x 1.4mm. DV RS-MMC (Dual-Voltage RS-MMC) / - 24mm x 18mm x 1.4mm - It is the next standard of RS-MMC that supports dual voltages, i.e. 3V and 1.8V. The lower voltage is used to reduce battery consumption. RS DV-MMC can be used in the mobile phones that support RS-MMC, but not vice versa. MMCmicro - The newest standard that is smaller than RS-MMC. It is not available in the market as the writing of this blog.
SD (Secure Digital) The standard of this flash memory card is defined by SD Card Association. SD Card - 24mm x 32mm x 2.1mm. The dimension of SD card is similar to MMC, it is just thicker. miniSD - 20 x 21.5 x 1.4mm. microSD / TransFlash / TFlash - 11mm x 15mm x 1mm. This memory card is getting more and more popular. Some Motorola phones, including ROKR, uses microSD.
1. Use any file manager such as Fileman, SeleQ, Fexplorer, etc. Go to C:\System\Data and copy Contacts.cdb. Paste it at somewhereelse in your MMC. When you want to restore your contacts, go to the same location C:\System\Data and paste contacts.cdb there. *Do this at your own risk. Phones running on Symbian OS 6.0 phones are not advisable to use this method. For Symbian OS8.0 or higher, open contacts> option> mark all> copy to phone memory/memory card. After that there is an option to restore from contacts as well. (method provided by arunav)
1. Start your phone in safe mode by holding the pen/pencil key on phone's keypad when you start your phone. Don't let go until you are asked to key in your pin code or lock code. 2.
